Sage and Thistle Tree House
At the beginning of the summer, I participated in the most beautiful, gorgeous, unique and amazing styled shoot put on by the talented company Sage and Thistle Events. I have known Tresa Roberts for a few years through the Rising Tide Society Tuesday's Together group in Provo, UT. When I heard that Sage and Thistle was putting this massive styled shoot together, I just knew I had to be a part of it. It was the week before we moved into our new house, so it was a little chaotic, but it was worth every single moment!
Out of the three styled sessions occurring during this event, the Treehouse was my favorite. The beautiful wedding venue at Sequoias had a beautiful treehouse that was decked out with amazing florals and styled beautifully to create a magical boho wedding. The warm summer colors from the glassware and candles provided the most wonderful vibe! Let's just say, I was obsessed with all of the natural elements in this scene. The little details, such as the floral plates and the butterfly menus along with the rich fruit in the greenery on the table. This tablescape was beautiful.
Then there were the florals by the Potted Pansy. I was amazed at the massive, gorgeous bouquet filled with such an array of rich colors that was perfectly placed together. And the floral arch at the bottom of the tree house stairs that looked like it was out of fairy tale. I love the different reds and pinks with the perfect amount of blue.
Honestly, I could go on and on about this fantastic event and all the beautiful vendors involved. But my favorite part about participating in this event was meeting with all of the other photographers and vendors. Everyone was so kind and willing to help in any way they could. I loved how Tressa and her team came together for this shoot. I can only imagine how they treat their brides and grooms!
