Oquirrh Mountain Temple Wedding|LDS Wedding| Utah Wedding Photographer
Anyone up for a little throwback Thursday? I am finally getting to blog this wedding! I am slowly but surely catching up!!
Kimberly and Tristan got sealed at the Oquirrh Mountain Utah Temple last August! It was a perfect day! They got married early in the morning. It was the quickest LDS sealing I have ever hear of! They got sealed on the hour, and within about 20 minutes, family members were heading out of the temple! Usually, the wait is at least 45 minutes!
I could just tell that these cute people were just so excited to be married to each other. The way Tristan looks at Kimberly is enough to make anyone's heart melt. They had so much support from their friends and family. They just all had so much fun celebrating their marriage.
And then there was the crazy dance party that happened at Gardner Village in South Jordan. Seriously! They had a conga line. There were kids dancing all around, and the groomsmen and bridesmaids were not holding any dance skills back. I'm pretty sure it doesn't get much more fun than that!
You'll really want to check out their bridal session that happened in Albion Basin. Click here to check that out!
I came back to Cheyenne often because I had family there. When I told them I was coming to town, they suggested we go to the Rocky Mountain National Park which was about 2 hours away in Colorado. And let me tell you, it was worth every mile! When we arrived, it was misty and dark. It almost seemed like rain. After we left the town of Estes Park and then headed to the park, we immediately saw Elk! It was amazing. We drove finding the perfect spots for their engagement session. And oh boy we did! Traveling around Rocky Mountain National Park, we saw the most gorgeous scenes full of pine trees and beautiful stormy skies.
This blog post is all about explaining what to expect from me when you hire me as your wedding photographer! I'm going over all the nitty-gritty details from booking to me delivering your gallery!
At the beginning of the summer, I participated in the most beautiful, gorgeous, unique and amazing styled shoot put on by the talented company Sage and Thistle Events. I have known Tresa Roberts for a few years through the Rising Tide Society Tuesday's Together group in Provo, UT. When I heard that Sage and Thistle was putting this massive styled shoot together, I just knew I had to be a part of it. It was the week before we moved into our new house, so it was a little chaotic, but it was worth every single moment!
Meet one of the best and newest families around! This is no ordinary family. If you look at that hot looking couple, at this time, they were engaged and getting ready to blend their two families together. Mandy and Brandon are incredible parents! I love that they wanted to include their kids in their engagement photos! And we had an absolute blast!
Luke and Lexi are one of my favorite couples. These beautiful people are some of the kindest, sweetest and most generous people I have ever met. And boy are they in love!!! They call each other their best friends. Luke cares for Lexi like she is the last person on earth. And they will soon be celebrating their one year anniversary!
Kylee knew the proposal was coming, but now sure when it was going to happen. They had picked out the ring and so it was happening soon! One day, they went on a hike to Stewart Falls. She was sure it was going to happen then! But it was just too icy and cold. So they had to turn back. As they were driving back, she started crying because she was sure it was going to happen then. Vince then pulled over, found a beautiful spot, and he proposed. He was planning on proposing all along but the ice ruined it! But their proposal story makes their story even more romantic.
There was a buzz in the air, waiting for Mr. and Mrs. Osborn to come out of the temple. Sisters and cousins, aunts and uncles were all so happy for these two. There were little nephews dancing around making everyone's heart light. And when they finally came out, there was nothing but smiles and joy on all sides!
The exposed brick and rustic look made the perfect location for this perfect couple. I was able to spend time with both of them individually before their first look and both of them were so excited to see the other. And then they both saw each other, and it was like they could relax again. They were both with each other, and all is well in the world. These two could not stop ogling each other. They both kept saying how lucky they were to get to marry each other. And after knowing Jake and Kylie, I can only say that they are so incredibly lucky that they met and married each other.
This boy and girl who are in love, play the ukulele together. Can it get anymore perfect than that? Pretty sure it cannot! We found a cute log, set them down and I made them serenade me. Even though I asked them to play, they couldn't take their eyes off each other. As they sung and played "Lava" I could tell, that they were so infatuated with each other. And it wasn't going away anytime soon.
If you didn't know, Wyoming is GORGEOUS! Sometimes you have to look for it. But it is there! Hannah and my mom scouted out this area about a week before I went up there to take Hannah and Cade's Bridal photos. When we got there, I could not believe how gorgeous this place was! The purple flowers and the pond, plus that amazing golden sunlight turned this session into one of my favorite bridals of all time.
