Mr. and Mrs. Osborn | The Bungalow and Payson Temple
On a wonderful, unusually warm day in March, Kylie and Jacob were sealed in the Payson, Utah Temple! It had snowed just the day before and I honestly was worried about mud and it being so gloomy and cold. But it was just the opposite! I got to the temple a little early and found that it was going to be one of the busiest weekends of the spring! BYU was on spring break and so all the lovers were getting hitched during their three day weekend.
I met up with the videographer, Reggie Ann Film + Photo and we started scouting for the best spots. A lot of people want pictures right in front of the temple. And although the front of the temple is beautiful, it isn't the best lighting wise! So I will search around the temple for the best spot. Although I do love the big group photos right out front!
There was a buzz in the air, waiting for Mr. and Mrs. Osborn to come out of the temple. Sisters and cousins, aunts and uncles were all so happy for these two. There were little nephews dancing around making everyone's heart light. And when they finally came out, there was nothing but smiles and joy on all sides!
After family pictures and bridals at the Payson Temple, there was a very short break to grab a dirty soda and some lunch. And then it was time to head to the Bungalow in Pleasant Grove! The Bungalow is one of my favorite venues! It is gorgeous inside and out. Even in the early spring!
We had some time before the reception started and so we took advantage by doing some more bridals and even getting a pretend first dance in there! Jake and Kylie are pretty much obsessed with each other, so it didn't take a lot to convince them to do so.
Inside, there was a lot of hustle and bustle getting all of the beautiful and personal details in place. There is nothing that makes my little photographer heart happier, than seeing the amazing couple I get to hang out with everywhere at their reception through pictures. Everywhere you looked, there was a picture from their bridal session. And it was beautiful! This is one of the reasons why, I love doing bridal sessions a few weeks before the wedding.
When we were doing the bridal session, Jake realized that he had locked his keys in his car! That would have made a very difficult getaway at the end of the night. Luckily with a couple of phone calls, AAA came to the rescue and saved the wedding night!
The evening went perfectly. With a cake from the Provo Bakery and crepes supplied by the Bungalow, we all definitely got our sugar fix for the night. Jake, with keys in hand swooped the love of his life away for a quick honeymoon before the semester started up again at BYU.
I loved being a part of the special day. It could not have been more beautiful or perfect!
I came back to Cheyenne often because I had family there. When I told them I was coming to town, they suggested we go to the Rocky Mountain National Park which was about 2 hours away in Colorado. And let me tell you, it was worth every mile! When we arrived, it was misty and dark. It almost seemed like rain. After we left the town of Estes Park and then headed to the park, we immediately saw Elk! It was amazing. We drove finding the perfect spots for their engagement session. And oh boy we did! Traveling around Rocky Mountain National Park, we saw the most gorgeous scenes full of pine trees and beautiful stormy skies.
This blog post is all about explaining what to expect from me when you hire me as your wedding photographer! I'm going over all the nitty-gritty details from booking to me delivering your gallery!
At the beginning of the summer, I participated in the most beautiful, gorgeous, unique and amazing styled shoot put on by the talented company Sage and Thistle Events. I have known Tresa Roberts for a few years through the Rising Tide Society Tuesday's Together group in Provo, UT. When I heard that Sage and Thistle was putting this massive styled shoot together, I just knew I had to be a part of it. It was the week before we moved into our new house, so it was a little chaotic, but it was worth every single moment!
There are several reasons why you should have a first look/bridal session. Here are three reasons to convince you!
Meet one of the best and newest families around! This is no ordinary family. If you look at that hot looking couple, at this time, they were engaged and getting ready to blend their two families together. Mandy and Brandon are incredible parents! I love that they wanted to include their kids in their engagement photos! And we had an absolute blast!
Hi! I'm Amber Prusse. I'm a Wyoming girl who was planted and then blossomed in the great state of Utah when I married a Utah boy. I'm mostly known for my love of Harry Potter, Sodalicious and being a boy mom. Although I am surrounded by mud and dinosaur loving boys at home, there is nothing I love more than the beauty of capturing beautiful milestones in life. I'm a wedding and family photographer, who believes in creating and photographing beautiful moments that you and your family will cherish for years to come. I have served over a hundred families and brides. I love becoming best friends with grandmas during your wedding and making the silliest faces to make little people smile.
Luke and Lexi are one of my favorite couples. These beautiful people are some of the kindest, sweetest and most generous people I have ever met. And boy are they in love!!! They call each other their best friends. Luke cares for Lexi like she is the last person on earth. And they will soon be celebrating their one year anniversary!
Kylee knew the proposal was coming, but now sure when it was going to happen. They had picked out the ring and so it was happening soon! One day, they went on a hike to Stewart Falls. She was sure it was going to happen then! But it was just too icy and cold. So they had to turn back. As they were driving back, she started crying because she was sure it was going to happen then. Vince then pulled over, found a beautiful spot, and he proposed. He was planning on proposing all along but the ice ruined it! But their proposal story makes their story even more romantic.

If you didn't know, Wyoming is GORGEOUS! Sometimes you have to look for it. But it is there! Hannah and my mom scouted out this area about a week before I went up there to take Hannah and Cade's Bridal photos. When we got there, I could not believe how gorgeous this place was! The purple flowers and the pond, plus that amazing golden sunlight turned this session into one of my favorite bridals of all time.
