My Biggest Regret|Utah County Newborn Photography
When my husband and I found out that we were pregnant, we were shocked, young, dirt poor, students and working. We were still living with my in laws at the time because we just moved to Utah and were getting our feet settled.
Time progressed, my belly grew, we moved into a tiny apartment, I graduated with my associates degree 2 weeks before my due date and we continued to be dirt poor. We were doing the bare minimum with life so that we could prepare for our kiddo's birth. Now here comes my biggest regret.
I did not get professional maternity, birth or newborn photos at this time in my life. It is my biggest regret up to this time in my life.
I thought we couldn't afford it. We had so much to pay for and we were scared. And now, I don't have any photos but a few pictures on instagram of our little family's beginning.
It is a time I will never get back!
Don't make this mistake! Take the opportunity to get quality professional newborn photos of your sweet baby. Make sacrifices to be able to pay for them. Save for them. Take the time to get them. It is an investment in your memories!
Here are some ways to help with the investment of newborn photography.
~ When your grandma asks what you want for your baby shower, ask for her to pay for your newborn photos!
~Ask that dream newborn photographer if they offer a payment plan. ( FYI- Amber Prusse Photography does offer payment plans)
~Put it on your registry! Then your best gal-friends can pull in together and get you this wonderful gift!
~ Do you go out to eat a lot? Don't buy that cheeseburger! Put that 6 bucks into a jar and save it! It adds up. Trust me!
~ Don't spend your $5 bills. You get change back and find a $5 bill? Don't spend it. Put it in a jar and save it. Over time, you will have saved up enough money!
What are some ways that you think you could save money for a newborn session? If you have an idea, leave it in the comments!
